Basic Responsibilities A. Assist in strategic planning for the Enactus student organization
B. Develop and Manage ACU Startup Week and its student leadership team
C. Manage, advise and support the student leadership team
D. Manage the operational activities for Enactus
E. Manage the program’s external relationships
F. Support the team in competition preparation
Essential Duties

A. Assist in strategic planning for the Enactus student organization
1. Work with the student leadership team of Enactus in developing and updating a strategy and plan for the organization, reporting to the Director of the Griggs Center
2. Work with other staff and faculty members in overall advisement of the Enactus student team

B. Develop and Manage ACU Startup Week and the student leadership team
Coordinate with student leaders and on-campus partners to plan events focused on entrepreneurship during one week in mid-November each year.
Recruit guest speakers, entrepreneurs, and classroom professors as needed for various events
Promote opportunities of involvement to students, alumni, and guest entrepreneurs.
Assist in development of marketing plan to build awareness of the week’s events across campus

C. Manage, advise, and support the student leadership team
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for students involved in Enactus, offering guidance and support for project needs and the growth and health of the overall organization
2. Maintain regular communication with the student team, meeting weekly for project updates and planning

D. Oversee the operational activities for Enactus
1. Manage and oversee the budget for the program, tracking expenses, donations and income from competition resources, Enactus events and gifts
2. Attend Enactus events, including events on campus, in the community and the National Conference
3. Stay updated on students’ progress on project development and completion

E. Assist in developing the organization’s external relationships
1. Assist student leaders in soliciting local businesses and organizations as sponsors for particular projects
2. Communicate with the Enactus regional and national partners regarding grant opportunities, competition information and other relevant items throughout the year
3. Recruit individuals to serve as mentors or provide expertise in certain areas relevant to current and future projects
4. Create an advisory board to periodically meet with the student team and advisors about the effectiveness of current projects and offer advice on future projects

F. Support the student team in competition preparation
1. Review and maintain the Enactus National Guidelines for competition preparation
2. Advise student team on script, media, practices and deliverables for competitions
3. Oversee the student team directory for the national organization, including all deliverables required by the national or regional partners

Qualifications A. Professional
1. A bachelor’s degree is preferred
2. Ability to organize strategic planning and budgeting procedures
3. Ability to interact with and promote program to students and community members

B. Personal
1. Strong interpersonal communication skills
2. Ability to work and interact well with students
3. Self-motivated, resourceful and creative
Physical Demands A. Able to stand for extended periods of time
B. Able to sit at a computer for extended periods of time
C. Able to sit in meetings for extended periods of time
D. Be available to work evenings and/or weekends on occasion in addition to regular office hours.
