Job Qualifications This position will be responsible for organizing the logistics for all travel related programs for the Griggs Center with oversight from the Griggs Center staff. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, organized, personable and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills:
1. Display strong organizational skills and attention to detail
2. Be disciplined, trustworthy, and a self-starter.
3. Maintain confidentiality regarding student participants’ personal and private information.
4. Have the ability to work independently, efficiently and accurately
5. Have the ability to positively interact and communicate with faculty and students involved in the travel programs.
6. Be able to use computer programs used in an office setting.
7. Maintain professionalism
8. Manage and organize necessary information for multiple trips simultaneously with accuracy.

Position Description/ Job Duties This position will be responsible for organizing the logistics for all travel related programs for the Griggs Center with oversight from the Griggs Center staff. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, organized, personable and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Manage and oversee the logistics of the Griggs Center’s travel programs:

1. Follow a step by step guide to complete necessary tasks in a timely manner for all travel programs.
2. Coordinate with necessary campus departments to ensure all university requirements for student travel are satisfied
3. Assist faculty and staff sponsors of individual trips in their preparation.
4. Serve as a point of contact for student participants for questions related to any travel program.
Preferred Availability Hours per week: 10 - 15, preference for 2-3 hour blocks of time during the typical 8 - 5, M-F work day.
