Essential Duties

A. Hunter Welcome Center:
1. Plan, organize, design and help supervise events in HWC
2. Assist University departments and personnel with planning and
implementation of events, meetings and conferences in the HWC
3. Provide assistance between the University and representatives of off-campus
organization and groups who are planning events in HWC
4. Responsible for set-up of non-catered events held in the HWC
B. Teague Special Events Center:
1. Plan, organize, design and help supervise events in Teague
2. Assist University departments and personnel with planning and
implementation of events, meetings and conferences in the Teague
3. Provide assistance between the University and representatives of off-campus
organization and groups who are planning events in Teague
4. Responsible for set-up of non-catered events held in the Teague venue
selection

C. University Events Office Duties

1. Supervise Student interns
2. Maintain all venter insurance and contracts for University Events
3. Provide support to additional events as needed in Moody and various campus
locations

D. VIP Events with President’s Office:
1. Collaborate with president office, VP of Advancement and Assist. VP of
Alumni Relations to invite guest to campus for engagement and speaking
Opportunities
2. Work with President’s office, VP of Advancement and Asst. VP of Alumni
and University Relations to coordinate special alumni, donors and friends of
ACU to be invited to campus for engagement and speaking opportunities
3. Work to schedule with Provost and Deans for classroom opportunities
4. Schedule with Chapel office as needed
5. Coordinate with catering when needed
6. Coordinate on campus experience and follow up
7. Plan with athletics when needed
E. Home Football Tailgates:  (co-plan with AR/UR and possible Student Gameday
Directors)
1. Coordination with tent
2. Coordination with all social clubs and various student groups
3. Coordination with athletics for Wildcat Walk and coordination with Big
Purple for tailgate performance and march to stadium.
4. Produce overall events production schedule to include WFF, Facilities Mgmt,
ACUPD, etc.
F. Movie on the Hill:
1. Work with ACU Marketing for promotion
2. Work with Athletics re: stadium reservations
3. Produce overall event production schedule to include WFF, Facilities Mgmt.
ACUPD, etc

G. Homecoming Advancement Division Events:
1. Plan with full team 6-8 events each year
2. Plan with full team Christmas Tree decoration in HWC

Professional Development Requirements A. Professional
1. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Banner or the willingness and ability to learn
Banner
2. Interested in staying “current” through professional development in the alumni
relations profession
Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree required
2. Extensive customer service experience
3. Outstanding presentation and writing communication skills
4. Exceptional organizational skills
