Director of Graduate Programs Position Information: Abilene Christian University is developing a graduate program in Nuclear Science and Engineering and is seeking an experienced educator with the drive to build and lead a premier program. This program will be built on an ABET accredited engineering program and long-standing physics and chemistry programs with a strong history in nuclear physics. This environment is a stable foundation on which to build this new graduate program. Additionally, ACU’s Nuclear Energy experimental Testing (NEXT) Lab is working to build an advanced molten salt research reactor to be housed in the new $23 million Science and Engineering Research Center on campus. The new program and this unique research tool will be attractive to faculty and students.

NEXT Lab Senior Research Position Information: The NEXT Lab team is searching for a Senior Researcher to join a staff committed to advancing the goals of the NEXT Lab as we move toward a new generation of molten salt reactors. A well-qualified individual for this position will be able to work alongside the highly motivated team of faculty, staff and students at ACU. This person will be working with the Natura Resources Research Alliance which consists of faculty and staff from ACU, Georgia Institute of Technology, Texas A&M University, the University of Texas at Austin, and Natura Resources.
