||Interested in learning how to run sound for churches, theater-type venues, or live events? Training will be provided. Applicants must be courteous, professional, and punctual. They must maintain great communication and customer service skills for our clients and be able to lift at least 30 lbs. This position is active during both semesters and summer vacation.
|Position Description/ Job Duties
||Sound Techs are responsible for providing live audio and video services for different venues and events throughout campus. Techs arrive early to set up microphones and related equipment, perform sound checks, and any troubleshooting prior to the start of an event. Techs then run the event and are responsible for ensuring all microphones and related equipment are returned and stored in their proper locations.
||Monday-Fridays: 10 a.m.-11:45 a.m. for Chapel Services
Other events take place at different dates and times, such as: Ethnos, Summit, Freshman Follies, Athletics Chapel, etc. Some events will take place on weekends and evenings as well.
