|Faculty Position Information
The Department of Bible, Missions and Ministry invites applications and nominations in writing for a junior-level, tenure-track faculty position, beginning in Fall 2020. The department is seeking someone with a terminal degree and with specific expertise in Missions. The successful candidate will be expected to teach General Education survey courses in Religion; mentor student research; and accept departmental, college and university committee assignments. In addition, the candidate should possess a well-defined program of research as evidenced by publications and presentations; demonstrate competence in international and domestic Christian missions and intercultural studies; be fluent in one or more modern languages other than English; and exhibit excellence as a classroom teacher. The candidate must also be able to relate to a multi-ethnic student body whose experience with Christianity ranges from very high to none.
