Basic Responsibilities
    1. Develops and executes the marketing strategy.
    2. Manages internal marketing staff and marketing agency relationships.
    3. Drive growth and efficiencies within the acquisition cycle.
Essential Duties
  1. Develops and executes the marketing strategy.  Including, but not limited to, the creative and paid media execution and process. 
  2. Manages internal marketing staff and marketing agency relationships.
  3. Supports strategic direction of messaging and recruitment efforts across paid and organic channels.
  4. Directs the competitive and market analysis process. 
  5. Develops and presents investment and performance metrics to leadership.
  6. Collaborates with Abilene Campus Marketing team regarding ACU branding efforts, including overall brand messaging and website optimization (CRO/SEO).
Professional Development Requirements
    1. Skills
      1. Strong understanding of MarTech data and analytics tools.
      2. Strong organizational and management skills.
      3. Strong group presentation skills.
      4. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
      5. Demonstrated experience and insight in the successful operation and growth of online education. 
    2. Training Modules Required
      1. Ongoing CPE
      2. Regular reading in higher education and marketing publications
      3. Networking within online higher education
Qualifications

III. Professional

  1. Bachelor's degree in related discipline required: Master's degree preferred
  2. Minimum of five years experience in marketing, preferably within higher education
  3. Experience should include lead generation, digital marketing, social media, broadcast, and CRM. 
  4. Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics and other analytical tools.  Knowledge of attribution, modeling, forecasting a plus. 
  5. Knowledge of the higher education market and industry, with special emphasis in online learning
  6. Proven ability to work independently and lead multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
  7. Must possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills to accurately convey University information as described above
  8. Must have an excellent command of professional presentation skills and be comfortable presenting to groups both large and small
  9. Must be self-motivated and be able to work and lead effectively in a team environment
  10. Computer literate and able to learn proprietary software applications

Physical Demands
  1. Work is performed in an office environment; must have the ability to sit for long periods of time (4-6 hours)
