Department Residence Life- University Park Apartments
Hours per Week 25 hours minimum
Job Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Office Manager must have been out of high school for 2 or more years
  • Office Manager must be proficient in Google Drive and proper email/phone etiquette
  • Office Manager must be in good standing with the Dean of Students, Residence Life, Human Resources and all other university administrative offices.
  • Office Manager must attend required training sessions and meetings.
  • Office Manager must be familiar with emergency procedures and protocols.
  • Office Manager must be familiar with and abide by the Employee Handbook, specifically with the Standard of Conduct.
  • Office Manager must be familiar with and abide by the Student Handbook, specifically with the Student Code of Conduct.
Position Description/ Job Duties

Essential Job Functions-

Property Management:

  • Conduct weekly walk-throughs on property to identify any maintenance needs
  • Submit and track work orders for property maintenance
  • Follow up with Facilities and residents around maintenance concerns
  • Manage ongoing maintenance schedule
  • Track and maintain property amenities.

Hospitality:

  • Facilitate move-in/move-outs for UP residents
  • Facilitate housing for short/temporary stays
  • Maintain office and community spaces
  • Maintain amenity reservations and schedules
  • Updates flyers and signage around property

Resident Involvement:

  • Conduct follow-up with residents regarding concerns
  • Issue property letters regarding fines, violations, notices, etc.
  • Provide updates to residents regarding urgent maintenance or property needs
  • Issue visitor parking passes
  • Provide property-wide notices and communication.

Administrative Excellence:

  • Monitor UP email
  • Maintain UP Google Drive
  • Assist Director with scheduling needs
  • Assist Director with receipt submissions
  • Manage key inventory
  • Attend weekly 1:1 with Director or SRA

Regular Responsibilities:

  • Daily communication and interaction with residents
  • Engagement with maintenance concerns
  • Communication of Res Life announcements
  • Collaboration with apartment community and staff members to organize events
  • Oversee/assist with move-in and move-out procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director.
Preferred Availability Monday - Friday, some weekends.
