Basic Responsibilities

● Plan, implement, and execute annual fundraising campaigns, including working with marketing to create compelling appeals and materials for various channels.

● Analyze giving data to identify trends, improve fundraising strategies, and track the success of campaigns

● Work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders, such as alumni relations, marketing, and athletics, to achieve fundraising goals

Essential Duties

● Plan, implement, and execute annual fundraising campaigns, including working with marketing to create compelling appeals and materials for various channels.

o Create and manage multi-channel fundraising efforts (print, digital, texting, and social media) that support donor retention, renewal, and acquisition of Exceptional Scholarship Fund donors

o Stay current on annual giving best practices and maximize the use of data and other resources to make strategic recommendations and implementations

● Analyze giving data to identify trends, improve fundraising strategies, and track the success of campaigns

o Develop strategies to grow the annual giving rate by acquiring new donors and increasing donations from existing donors.

o Track results of solicitations, compile data, and assist with analysis to measure progress toward organizational goals

● Work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders, such as alumni relations, marketing, and athletics, to achieve fundraising goals.

o Help manage and organize campus solicitations for various groups.

o Assist with planning and running ACU Gives, the university’s annual two-day campaign that involves academic, athletic and student life-focused funds.

o Attend and assist with donor events on campus when needed

Professional Development Requirements

● Skills

o The ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment is crucial

o Ability to learn and adapt to new digital platforms and programs

o Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

o The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions

o Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office platforms

Qualifications

Professional

● Bachelor’s degree

● Experience in fundraising, communications, or related fields in higher education or other non-profit organizations is preferred.

Personal

● A genuine interest in fundraising and a commitment to the university's mission are highly valued.

● Ability to maintain confidentiality

● Proven ability to work independently to accomplish goals and establish priorities with minimal supervision

Physical Demands

● Must be willing to work a flexible schedule with some evening and weekend hours.

● Lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
