The ACU Collections Specialist coordinates all efforts associated with our collection of payments on debts owed to the university by former students and/or employees. They work collaboratively with internal peers and external collection agencies to monitor past due account balances and payments made. This individual is also the primary university contact for personal conversations and some negotiations with debtors. Monthly reconciliation of the accounts is conducted through this role.
