Associate Director of Admissions Dallas, Remote, Abilene
(The primary accountabilities below are intended to describe the general content and requirements of this position and are not intended to be an exhaustive statement of duties. Specific tasks or responsibilities will be documented in the employee’s performance objectives by the immediate supervisor/director.
Media Relations Coordinator Abilene
Reports to the Assistant AD for Communications and Creative Services and the Deputy AD for External Operations. Responsible for helping to create and maintain a positive image for the university’s program of intercollegiate athletics for student-athletes, accomplished primarily through local, state and national news media, internal and external partnerships, and more direct communication with the university’s audiences. This Exempt Full-Tim person manages the broadcasts, podcasts and press conferences, serves as the primary contact and supervisor for student workers who help the media relations office stat games and provide web streaming content. This person finds, trains and schedules those workers for each contest during the season, which could be for as many as 75 contests per year. This person serves as one of ACU’s two primary media and community contacts for athletics; helps maintain historical sports files; and helps supports the Vision goal of helping ACU be perceived as a national leader in Christian higher education.
Purchasing Assistant Abilene
Responsible to assist the Director of Purchasing in maintaining compliance and performing daily duties and processes including and not limited to the following areas: Processing of purchase request, monthly purchasing card reporting and beverage audits, copier management, maintain open/close user accounts for UPS, Staples, Amazon and myCoke. As a result, this employee will serve as a key link between the Siburt Institute team, its resources, and the church and church leaders that the Siburt Institute serves.
