Basic Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate bookkeeping functions of the ACU Dallas campus 

  1. Provide other document processing support 

Essential Duties

A. Coordinate Bookkeeping Functions of the ACU Dallas Campus: 

  1. Prepare, Submit, Monitor, Manage Process Flow, Field Inquiries for: 

a. All Dallas Requests for Payment (RFP) 

b. Journal Entries (JE) 

c. Performing Payroll and Marketing Allocations 

d. Purchasing Card Reconciliation Reports (P-Card) and timely submission of P-Card entries from staff 

e. Ad Hoc as assigned 

  1. Coordinate with Vendors to Ensure Timely Invoicing 

  1. Monitor Transactions and Perform Reconciliation of Marketplace (online retail) Transactions 

  1. Compile Monthly Budget Reports reconciling with internal systems  

  1. Assist in the creation, maintenance, accuracy and relevance of non-student, non-program billing detail codes within the billing system 

  1. Manage billing processes for university revenues charged to vendors 

  1. Provide backup for performing system maintenance of the receivables subledger of AR details to the general ledger 

 

B. Provide Other Document Processing Support for: 

  1. Aid with Travel Requests and Expense Reporting (Concur) 

  1. Maintain and Implement Records Management Policies

Qualifications

A. Professional 

  1. College degree and/or five years bookkeeping experience. 

  1. Experience in managing accounts payable. 

  1. Excellent grammar and proofing skills 

  1. Computer literate in all areas (software, internet, hardware, peripherals) 

 

B. Personal 

  1. Interest, aptitude, and skill in numbers, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation 

  1. Manages multiple projects and deadlines 

  1. Execute duties with minimal supervision 

  1. Willingness to adapt to change, learn innovative technologies, and new skills 

  1. Problem solves, asks for input, and initiates solutions 

  1. Possesses critical thinking skills
