Basic Responsibilities
Develop strategy for maximizing revenue generation for ACU Athletics.
Take the lead role in all fundraising campaigns and opportunities for ACU Athletics.
Oversee all aspects of Ticketing.
Liaison with ACU’s multimedia rights partner.
Essential Duties
Develop strategy for maximizing revenue generation for ACU Athletics.
Develop plans and strategies to identify new sources of revenue.
Annually review, and enhance revenue streams to maximize opportunities.
Build relationships with members of ACU and the Abilene community.
Take the lead role in development and fundraising for ACU Athletics.
Work collaboratively with ACU Advancement office on all athletic centric fundraising activities
Oversee and manage annual giving program that increases fundraising dollars and Wildcat Club membership for Athletics
Create and maintain a priority seating program for football and basketball
Assist coaches with their sport specific fundraising needs and annual ACU Gives campaign
Solicit annual and major gifts for Athletics
Sell all premium seating inventory for football and basketball
Oversee all aspects of Ticketing.
Increase season ticket, single game, and group ticket sales for ticketed sports
Effectively manage and operate donor / ticketing system
Oversee the operations of the Ticket Office
Produce game audit reports after home athletic events
Liaison with ACU’s multimedia rights partner
Enhance and promote the ACU brand, both locally and nationally
Work with LRG to increase revenue through royalties
Work with the IMG to increase sponsorship revenue and fulfill sponsor obligations
Collaborate with ACU Business Services to generate additional revenue through concessions, merchandise sales, special events, etc.
Professional Development Requirements
Skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, or a similar field
Master’s degree preferred
Experience in Division I college athletics preferred
At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in external affairs, with some supervisory or management experience preferred
Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and quality of work
Broad understanding of/and interest in numerous sports

Able to drive to athletic event locations
