| Position Description/ Job Duties | The student will assist the Interlibrary Loan Coordinator by doing any or all of the following: -Finding and pulling books from the shelves -Packing and sending books in the mail and sorting and unpacking incoming mail -Scanning pages of books and articles -Using computer software for processing loans -Shelving and shelf reading (making sure books are located and ordered correctly) -Other miscellaneous tasks in the library This position is technical, rather than covering a desk or service point. While located in a busy and visible area of the library, daily tasks performed by the student worker involve more work with computers and books and less direct patron interaction. |
| Preferred Availability | 10 hours per week Monday to Friday. Summer availability required. |
