Responsibilities

The Office of Spiritual Life Worship/Production Coordinator will serve the student body during the 2025-2026 school year by helping design, execute, coordinate, and grow daily chapel experience and discipling student leaders who serve on the chapel worship team.

General responsibilities:
● Work collaboratively with Campus Ministers to book out and plan Moody Chapel.
● Work collaboratively with our Chapel Production Partner 83 Entertainment, overseeing all communication, contracts, gear needs, etc...
● Help set up and tear down pipe and drape and production of Moody.
● Help maintain upkeep, organization, and tuning of all equipment used in chapel.
● Continued reflection on how to elevate Moody chapel with innovative ideas.
● Knowledge or connections of relevant production software/hardware.
● Run Weekly production meetings with Campus Ministers and Student Workers.
● Attend and actively participate in regular meetings.
● Delegate production roles to OSL staff.
● Collaborate and work closely with Grad Assistants and Student Workers involved in the Chapel Worship Team and Production of Moody Chapel.
● Intentionally collaborate/create setlists based on the semester theme/speaker with worship leaders.
● Oversee scheduling of teams in Planning Center 2 weeks in advance and confirm a week in advance with a setlist posted.
● Recruit students and volunteers for Chapel Worship Team
● Develop and Facilitate Chapel Worship Team Auditions within the first 3 weeks of Fall and Spring Semesters.
● Develop and Host workshops and meetings with the Chapel Worship Team Members.

● Meet regularly with Chapel Worship Team members.
● Weekly meetings with worship Student Workers and Grad Assistants involved in chapel
worship.
● Schedule and communicate rehearsals, training, and discipleship opportunities for the Chapel Worship Team.
● Report progress and challenges to the Office of Spiritual Life staff.


Occasional Responsibilities:
● Execute a worship night event quarterly.
● Connect with Worship Majors
● Provide support and guidance for the other Graduate Assistants.
● Expectation to serve and lead at a few events on evenings and weekends throughout
the year.
● Assisting other departments in the office.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Competencies:
● Be one of exceptional Christian character
● Bachelor’s Degree Required
● Respected by students and faculty based on character and integrity.
● Be proficient in Google Drive programs.
● Be proficient in Planning Center.
● Be proficient in Multitracks and Playback.
● Be proficient in Mainstage.
● Be proficient in ProPresenter.
● Have decision-making, time management, and organizational skills, and the ability to manage and meet deadlines.
● Have pastoral presence, engaging stage presence, and good interpersonal relationships ability.
● Have a strong work ethic and demonstrate exceptional maturity.
● Competent in vocal and instrumental performance.
● Able to communicate effectively to musicians and a willingness to learn and grow as a musician/vocalist.

Physical Demands

 Able to stand for extended periods of time

 Able to sit at a computer for extended periods of time

 Able to lift objects and equipment up to 30lbs

 Be available to work evenings and/or weekends on occasion in addition to regular office hours
