Off-Campus Rental Property Management
Marketing of properties- Advertise vacant units, show properties to potential tenants, recommend purchase/sale of properties
Management of properties- Prepare and maintain records of all lease agreements, coordinate move-in and move-out with finance for rental payments, monitor utility spend and taxes and develop property policies.
Maintenance of properties- prepare properties for move-in and inspect properties on move-outs, coordinate repairs and renovations with facilities and contractors.
Asset Inventory & Lifecycle Management
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all facilities-related assets, including buildings, equipment, and infrastructure systems.
Implement and oversee assets and reporting for Brightly’s Asset Essentials, a centralized asset management system (e.g., CMMS).
Coordinate and perform regular asset audits and condition assessments.
Track asset lifecycles and work closely with maintenance and operations staff to support proactive maintenance, replacement, and capital renewal planning.
Ensure all acquisitions and disposals are documented accurately and aligned with university policies.
Ensure asset management practices meet applicable codes, standards, and audit requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA, local building codes).
Maintain documentation related to warranties, service agreements, inspections, and compliance certifications.
Capital Planning and Budgeting
Assist in developing long-term capital improvement plans based on asset condition and useful life.
Provide data and support to inform budgeting for repairs, upgrades, and replacements.
Track capital asset expenditures and contribute to financial forecasting.

Qualifications
Professional
Military, bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant experience
Real estate license preferred

Physical Demands
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to work under stress and always maintain composure
