• The successful candidate will join a collaborative department community of scholars who emphasize undergraduate research and student engagement with public history.  Our department serves majors in history, public history, social studies and history education, and minors in global and area studies. The College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences is committed to building and supporting a diverse, inclusive, and equitable community of students and scholars.

• Candidates with experience guiding undergraduates towards secondary social studies or history education careers, or with firsthand experience in 7-12 teaching, are especially welcome.
• PhD in History preferred, ABD considered.
