The School of Social Work at Abilene Christian University invites applications and/or nominations for an associate director of field education and assistant professor, tenure-track position in the MSSW program with appointment in August 2024.
ACU’s School of Social Work offers both the Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) and the Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) degrees. Although the successful candidate will be primarily assigned to the graduate program, they will be expected to teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. The graduate program has a single concentration in Advanced Generalist Practice, and both programs utilize a research capstone experience, with the MSSW requiring an applied research project. This position assists the Director of Field Education in administering the MSSW field education components in compliance with the curriculum, CSWE accreditation standards, ACU administrative policies, and the School of Social Work field policy manuals.
