Basic Responsibilities
  1. Formulate and implement strategies to enhance the value and reputation of the ACU Online Campus while seeking to advance the mission of the University.

  2. Exhibit innovative leadership through creativity, diversity, and inclusive engagement within the university, the evolving business community, alumni, student population, and stakeholders.

  3. Prioritizing resources and considering the competitive landscape to organize, plan, and establish priorities to meet and exceed the growth goals established.  

  4. Manage and guide the creation of innovative, uniquely competitive, and distinct high-performing partnerships that result in future growth opportunities.

  5. Collaborate with other Executive Education vertical teams and leadership to align program approaches and development with identified market force needs.

Essential Duties
  1. Responsible for corporate/community outreach and business development by coordinating with the ACU Online teams, university leaders, and faculty in identifying and implementing partnership opportunities resulting in increased enrollments and revenue from partner organizations.

    1. Represent the university at on- and off-campus events, programs, and other outreach activities.

  2. Manage and oversee the development and implementation of annual and long-range recruitment and strategic plans.

    1. Hire, develop, and supervise account executives 

  3. Maintain and implement working knowledge of current trends and best practices in corporate partnership development, B2B business development, and B2C enrollment.

  4. Design and manage partner activities such as enterprise-wide digital communication, and co-branded thought leader panels, 

    1. Collaborate with ACU marketing teams to create, implement, and manage the brand identity, marketing plans, and partner engagement efforts in the corporate and community space.

  5. Provide leadership in ensuring partner and student information is updated and managed in systems accurately and promptly.

    1. Establish dashboards and reporting for departmental KPI’s

Qualifications  
  1. Professional

    1. Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.  Masters preferred.

    2. Minimum of ten years of experience in a combination of business development, operations, and developing relationships with corporate leaders and academic professionals with at least seven years of experience in higher education. 

Physical Demands  
  1. Some work is performed in front of a computer and on the telephone; must have the ability to use the computer and remain stationary for long periods of time.

  2. Manage conversations in person, online, and by telephone. 

  3. 50% travel – locations vary and some overnight travel may be necessary.

  4. Work well under pressure and manage stress well.

  5. Communicate clearly: speak, read, write, and hear clearly to perform essential functions.
