Essential Duties |
A. Graduate Recruitment and Relationship Management
-
Recruit prospective graduate students for assigned academic programs with a focus on academic quality, diversity, and alignment with enrollment goals.

Develop, implement, and refine strategic recruitment plans based on data analysis and market trends.

Manage a pipeline of inquiries, applicants, and admitted students through personalized, multi-channel communication (phone, email, text, video, and in-person).

Counsel prospective students about graduate admissions requirements, application processes, and financial aid options.

Represent ACU at graduate fairs, virtual events, corporate visits, and industry-specific conferences.

Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, program directors, and other key influencers.
B. Application and Enrollment Support

Maintain accurate records and applicant information in the CRM (Graduate Slate) by logging interactions as well as maintain student systems (Banner).

Assist prospective students with completing applications, submitting transcripts, and understanding admission decisions.

Guide admitted students through the enrollment process, and then coordinate with the Director of Graduate Student Services to ensure a smooth transition for new students in the areas of financial aid, orientation, and program preparation.

Collaborate with academic departments to stay current on program updates and serve as a knowledgeable liaison between program directors and applicants.
C. Event Planning and Support

Coordinate and support on-campus and virtual events for prospective graduate students:

Attend off-campus events such as graduate expos, professional networking functions, and strategic partner events.

Support university-wide recruitment initiatives.
D. Data, Strategy, and Administrative Collaboration

Participate in team meetings, professional development, and strategic planning with the graduate enrollment team.

Collaborate with Enrollment Services, Marketing, Financial Aid, and academic departments to support shared goals.

Complete all required reports, expense documentation, and travel logs in a timely and accurate manner.

Identify and communicate trends, prospective student feedback, and process improvement ideas to leadership.

Professional Development Requirements |
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Slate preferred), Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of graduate academic structures, financial aid, and enrollment practices.

Qualifications |
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree or enrollment in a graduate program preferred.
- Prior experience in admissions, recruitment, higher education, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for student service and higher education.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Willingness to travel (some overnight), work evenings/weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with adult learners and/or graduate students.
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred).
Technology Requirements
- Personal cell phone required.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technology and software tools.
