Title of Position NEXT Lab Quality Assurance Manager

Draft quality assurance policies and procedures.
Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures.
Perform and document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
Collect and compile statistical quality data.
Analyze data to identify areas of improvement in the quality assurance program.
Prepare reports to communicate outcomes in the quality system.
Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
Work with NEXT Lab teams to obtain in-depth understanding of design and engineering processes as required.
Work with NEXT Lab to determine appropriate disposition of nonconformance and corrective actions.
Chair corrective action reviews when required.
Perform vendor assessments and audits to support NEXT Lab procurement processes (Approved Vendor List, AVL, among them).
Manage and coordinate Quality System with collaborating institutions.
Actively promote a Quality and Regulatory Compliance culture throughout the organization.
Complete special projects as requested by management.
Participate in cross functional teams to address and resolve quality problems, and to ensure the continuous improvement of processes and methods.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university.
Experience in quality programs and auditing (e.g. ISO 9001, CSA N299, NQA-1)
Ability to document and research.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Ability to interpret and apply of regulatory requirements in a research and development environment.
Experience writing proposals and reports.
Superb communication, teamwork, and people skills with demonstrable ability to perform effectively in a teaming environment.
Ability to adapt to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
Office work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
Ascending or descending stairs to attend meetings.
