Basic Responsibilities
  • Execute website change requests
  • Manage the transition of employee-facing website content from the main website to the intranet
  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding content shifts from main website to intranet
  • Long-term management of intranet infrastructure
Essential Duties

● Short/Mid-Term Responsibilities & Essential Duties:

○ Execute a wide array of internal stakeholder website change requests efficiently, minimizing website performance risks.
○ Identify, categorize, and transfer employee-facing content from the main public website to the intranet.
○ Collaborate with appropriate internal stakeholders to ensure smooth content migration from main website to employee-facing intranet.
○ Develop and implement communication strategies to inform appropriate internal stakeholders about content location changes.

● Long-Term Responsibilities & Essential Duties:

○ Manage and optimize intranet structures for internal-facing content.
○ Develop best practices for intranet content organization and internal stakeholder user experience.
○ Regularly audit and update internal-facing intranet content for accuracy.
○ Enhance intranet functionality based on user feedback and technological advancements.
○ Develop and provide training and support for effective intranet use.
○ For the right candidate, this role offers the potential to expand into technical SEO opportunities if desired, though it is not a requirement.

Professional Development Requirements ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Marketing, Web Development, or related field. Master’s degree preferred, but not required.
● 5+ years in frontend web development or UI/UX development.
● 5+ years in CMS (WordPress preferred) and intranet management platforms.
● 3+ years in content migration with a portfolio of migration work.
● Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and frontend web development tools.
● Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Qualifications ● Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate in both verbal and written formats.
● Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
● Computer competency, with knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly, new technologies and software.
● Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
● Commitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of industry trends.

Physical Demands ● Ability to sustain extended periods of time sitting and typing on a computer.
● Physical capability to engage in all responsibilities identified in this position description.
● Ability and energy to physically negotiate ACU locations and buildings, if/when this remote role is occasionally required to travel to ACU locations and buildings.
● Lifting/moving of office-related items needed to perform this role (up to 30 lbs.)
